Fedasil<\/h3>\r\n

I have completed a series of pictures of Fedasil refugees.
Fedasil is the Belgian federal agency for the welcoming of asylum seekers.<\/p>\r\n

I made the first series in 2023, at the Overijse Centre.
Followed in 2024 the Rixensart and Machelen Centres.<\/p>\r\n

Zotte People<\/h3>\r\n

A fun series of silly pictures I made with my soulmate.
Over a period of six years we made a variety of photos – just for the fun. 
It was also a nice way of including my wife in my photography activities.<\/p>\r\n

I am Julian Hills – “hools” -, a Brusseleer<\/em> of English origin, photographer  devoting myself mainly to social and charitable photography. It is in these exchanges that I find the emotions that I love and that inspire me. I work with organisations such as ATD Fourth World, Beyond the Clouds, The Cancer Foundation, Make a Wish, Bikers for Children, Justine for Kids, Down syndrome foundation, Nos Pilifs, Fondation Lou, Le Huiti\u00e8me Jour, … I have participated in numerous exhibitions, including the Belgian National Theatre and the International Center of Photography in New York; won a bronze award at the Tokyo International Competition and published a book: “ordinary people”. I work professionally for families, corporate and portraits and I enjoy working as a set photographer on film and TV shoots. Being musician I also enjoy stage photography; live gigs and also identity and promo work for artists.  And I am always happy to take photos of surrounding animals & landscapes.   I am currently exploring studio and editorial images.<\/p>\r\n

Je suis Julian Hills – “hools” -, un Brusseleer<\/em> d’origine anglaise, photographe se consacrant principalement \u00e0 la photographie sociale et caritative. C’est dans ces \u00e9changes que je trouve les \u00e9motions que j’aime et qui m’inspirent. Je travaille avec des organisations telles que ATD Quart Monde, Audel\u00e0 des Nuages, La Fondation contre le Cancer, Make a Wish, Bikers for Children, Justine for Kids, Down syndrome foundation, Nos Pilifs, Fondation Lou, Le Huiti\u00e8me Jour, HappyCurien… J’ai particip\u00e9 \u00e0 de nombreuses expositions, notamment au Th\u00e9\u00e2tre national de Belgique et \u00e0 l’International Center of Photography de New York ; j’ai remport\u00e9 un prix de bronze au concours international de Tokyo et publi\u00e9 un livre : “ordinary people”. Je travaille professionnellement pour des familles, des entreprises et des portraits et j’aime beaucoup travailler comme photographe de plateau sur des tournages de films et de s\u00e9ries. En tant que musicien, j’aime aussi la photographie de sc\u00e8ne, les concerts et le travail d’identit\u00e9 et de promotion pour les artistes. Et je suis toujours heureux de prendre des photos des animaux et des paysages environnants. J’explore actuellement les images \u00e9ditoriales et de studio.<\/p>\r\n

Ik ben Julian Hills – “hools” -, een Brusselaar van Engelse origine en fotograaf die zich voornamelijk wijdt aan sociale en liefdadigheidsfotografie. Het is in deze uitwisselingen dat ik de emoties vind waar ik van hou en die mij inspireren. Ik werk samen met organisaties zoals ATD Vierde Wereld, Boven de Wolken, The Cancer Foundation, Make a Wish, Bikers for Children, Justine for Kids, Stichting Downsyndroom, Nos Pilifs, Fondation Lou, Le Huiti\u00e8me Jour, … Ik heb deelgenomen aan talrijke tentoonstellingen, waaronder het Belgisch Nationaal Theater en het International Center of Photography in New York; won een bronzen medaille op de Internationale Wedstrijd van Tokio en publiceerde een boek: “gewone mensen”. Ik werk als professioneel fotograaf voor families, bedrijven en portretten en Ik werk graag als setfotograaf bij film- en tv-opnames. Als muzikant geniet ik ook van podiumfotografie; live optredens en ook portret- en promotiewerk voor artiesten. Foto’s te maken van dieren en landschappen maken mij ook altijd blij. Momenteel onderzoek ik studio- en redactionele beelden.<\/p>\r\n
